  • Our ESL program is one of the most unique programs in Sherman ISD, which serves about 98 students; representing over 10 different languages. The administrating body is made up of a full time ESL Coordinator (Veronica Boxley), part time ESL Teacher (Tori Decker), Bilingual Assistant (Silvia Olds), LPAC Administrator (Jackie Newkirk), and a parent representative (Evans Mosiere), which also serves as the LPAC committee.

The Language Proficiency Assessment Committee serves as the foundation for the education of English Language Learners. At the time a student with a language other than English enters the school system, the committee responsibilities are set in motion.

This site will be used for communication and resources that will be shared amongst teachers and program administrators to assist our students in becoming proficient in English and successful socially and academically.
